Concerns about Strangers

Posted by Mr Fisher on 24th October and posted in Heads Blog, Notices

Today, we have had futher contact from Enfield Police.

They are investigating another incident this week with the occupants of  a white van.

DI Lalani has asked that pupils and parents make very effort to note details of vehicles and occupants including Registration Numbers should they have any anxiety regarding a white van.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Enfield Police on 101, alternately call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

At school this week we have reminded children about Stranger Danger.

Please reinforce this with your children.

We look forward to seeing everyone back at school safely after half term!

Black History Month Event

Posted by Mr Fisher on 23rd October and posted in Heads Blog, Notices, Trips & Events

A BIG THANK YOU to the event organisers for Monday evening’s black history month event.

This is the first time that Brimsdown Primary school has run a Black History event involving parents.

Black History Month is not only an opportunity to celebrate inspirational black people in history but its also a perfect way to realise reality of situations in the past to cherish what we have today.  As we are a Values based school we capture every opportunity to try and bring the community together through educational and funfilled events. We were really happy to see so many guests on the night where they enjoyed a variety of traditional foods, activities and perfomances such as singing, dancing and listening to djembe drums. Most of the performers were from within our school but we were really lucky to  have some very talented dancers from Oasis Hadley Academy. Many thanks to all. Looking forward to next year.
